Dr. FunFrock
Character FunFrock1
Character FunFrock2

Occupation:Mad scientist, Evil dictator
Appears in:LBA, LBA2

Dr. FunFrock is the main antagonist of both games.

Not much is known about his background, but apparently he has been a mad and ambitious scientist thirsty for domination. Thanks to technologies like cloning, teleportation and mutant breeding, he managed to bring all Twinsun under his rule. His true goal is to achieve the God-like status by reaching the Well of Sendell, and absorb the power of Sendell, the goddess of the planet. For theis reason he has emptied the northern hemisphere forom citizens in order to pursue his work unhidered.

His only fear was the Legend of Sendell that foresaw his fall. For this reason he has tried to eliminate every relic of the Legend, including every Seal of Sendell, and also imprisoned the heir (Twinsen), because he had prophetic dreams.

In LBA, he is the dictator of Twinsun and controls the planet. Twinsen escapes however and FunFrock abducts his wife, Zoé, in order to lure him to his secret fortress. He traces FunFrock to the Well of Sendell where they have their final fight.

After Twinsen defeats him in LBA, the planet is peaceful again, and no longer under the reign of terror, but in LBA2, it is revealed that Twinsen actually killed a clone of FunFrock in the end of the game, and that he escaped to Zeelich. There he made an arrangement with the emperor, and disguised himself as Dark Monk, Zeelich's god, with the plan of destroying Twinsun by collapsing its moon against it. Twinsen defeats him and his plan once again.

Considering that FunFrock had made several clones of himself, it is unknown when the real one appears in the games, and whether the one(s) defeated at the end of the games are clones; or whether any of them was the real one.

  • In LBA2, FunFrock and his clone(s), like all other monsters, can be 1-hit killed with the lightning spell - but only after he casts the cage into the lava (he's invulnerable before that).
  • He is voiced, in English, by Christian Erickson in LBA, and Jerry Di Giacomo in LBA2.
