This giant spider only appears at the cave of the access to the cliffs, at upper Citadel Island.
There is also a mini-version of the spider that appears once, in the mosquibee area. It walks back and forth and is easy to defeat.

Twinsen encounters it when he enters one of the caves looking for the lair of the Tralü. The spider sometimes disappears if Twinsen exits the cave and re-enters.
