An insectoid race that look like half-mosquitoes, half-bees (hence the name). Thus far, they managed to maintain independence from the Sups and their Emperor that dominate the planet. They live in a swarm around their queen and are rarely seen outside their home island (Joan Loumin being a notable exception). Their dwelling is an immense cocoon clinging to one of the peaks of the under-gas.
