One of the rebel leaders is a sphero in the rebel camp, in Rebellion Island. When Twinsen meets him, he tells him that they believe that the northern hemisphere of the planet is still inhabited and wish to contact those who stayed there. During their raid to traverse the Okojo Pass, Colonel Kroptman was captured in the Hamalayi Fortress.
He will help Twinsen cross the Hamalayi Mountains if he helps them free Kroptman.
Later, when Twinsen asks him about the Teleportation Center, he says that one can buy every kind of information in Funky-Town.
